Users Guide for FRC 2013 Competitors and Team Leaders
All User functions can be performed using either the website at http://frc.quextit.com or using an IOS or Android Smartphone App. This guide includes detailed instructions for using both to ask, follow or just browse questions to FRC Kit of Parts Suppliers.
Using the website at http://frc.quextit.com
Signing up for Quextit
Anyone can join Quextit. By registering you can ask questions, follow questions that have already been asked, and receive notifications when your questions get updated. Sign up here if you aren’t already registered.
Logging In
You log in at http://frc.quextit.com. The login section is at the top right of the page. If you have never used Quextit then register by clicking “Sign Me Up“. You will need a valid email.
Searching, Filtering, and Following Questions
Click on the Video Thumbnail at left to see a short animation explaining the process in detail, using a web browser.
Asking Questions
Asking Questions is easy using Quextit Q&A (unlike with the FRC Q&A Service, anyone can ask a question on the FRC Supplier Q&A). Here is a short video showing how the system works.
Notification
The user is notified by email that the question they posed has been answered. If a user is following a question, they will be similarly notified. Notification is managed under the “My Account” tab.
